What is Paint Protection Film (PPF) ?
Paint protecction film (PPF) also know as "clear bras" basically is a clear vinyl film that is flexable and durable and designed to protect your vehicle paint from road damage incured while driving such as rock chips and other such debris.
  2. ?

Can I get PPF on the whole car?
Yes, at Invisibra we can protect your entire vehicle from head to toe front to back. This process normally takes a full week but you will sleep better knowing every square inch of your vehicle is protected.
  3. ?

    Where did PPF originate?
In a nut shell... during Operation Desert Storm, military vehicles were getting surface damage from the desert sand, so they contacted 3M. The solution was to apply a thin clear layer of film over the vehicles surface to protect the finish.
  4. ?

    Can the film be removed?
Yes, the film can be removed. This is a lengthy process and is best performed with steam or heat. There is a slight risk of paint peeling off the edges around the wheel wells as that paint typically get loosened from constant debris.
  5. ?

    How long does it last?
The films we use are warrantied for 5 years and 10 years but we recommend replacing them after a good 7-8 years if it is regularly garage kept.
  6. ?

How long does it take to install?
Typically a full front bumper, full hood, full fenders, headlights and mirrors takes about two days. A full head to toe wrap would take around 5-7 days.
  7. ?

    Will it turn yellow?
The film we use should not turn yellow and if ever one does it is under warranty from yellowing so that panel will be replaced at no cost to you.
  8. ?

    Do you use Pre-Cut Kits
No, Invisibra does not use Pre-Cut kits on the painted panels. We make our own templates and trace the patterns onto the film itself. The only place we feel pre cut kits asthetically do a good job are on headlights and fog lights.
  9. ?

    Can I wax it?
Yes you can wax and protect the PPF as you would the paint. We only ask that you wait 3 days from the time the film is installed to allow it to properly cure before applied any protective products to it.
  10. ?

    How do I clean it?
You can clean the film as you would normally clean the paint finish. If you start to get wax and dirt build up along any visible lines, you may use rubbing alcohol to remove it. Do not lift the edge with your fingernail to try to clean the edges, that will only make it worse and also risk the integrity of the film adhesion.
  11. ?

    Can I polish it?
The PPF technically can be polished, however we do not recommend that you polish or compound it that can easily make it hazy or worse.
  12. ?

What PPF film do you use?
At Invisibra we are not contractually tied to any brand and we try to use only the best film the market has to offer. Right now we are using Suntek PPF but will make arrangements for other brands if we need too.
